ASSOCIATION OF FORMER PUPILS AND FRIENDS OF GRAN ASOCIACIÓN – COLEGIO
The Association of Former Pupils and Friends of Gran Asociación - Colegio came about through an initiative of men and women who had studied in its classrooms, parents of pupils or people connected with it through their social, historical or architectural work, etc. hoping that this Association would extend their belonging and bonds which tied them to the School.

This is a civil, non-profit-making association with unlimited duration, registered with Nº 11.568 in Section One of Valencia Register of Associations.
ITS MAIN PURPOSES ARE:

  • To make use of cultural, social, spiritual and sports activities in order to permanently maintain, foster and develop among its members the training, mutual assistance, interest and affection that Gran Asociación - Colegio inspired in them, over the years while they were pupils at the school, or while they were linked to it through particular activities.
  • To create, foster and organise all kinds of activities and services for the development and integral enrichment of its members, even going as far as to create a work exchange list for its members.
  • To stimulate and foster the Members’ desire to cooperate with the School for this to achieve its ends better, by contributing to the creation of awards, scholarship and study exchange list.
  • Carrying out whatever activities may be considered necessary for achieving the aforementioned ends and arranging an annual former pupils’ day and events, services, talks and meetings etc. leading to a better development of the Association.

    All of this is done independently or in cooperation with public or private institutions and both Spanish and foreign schools and universities.

Dear Friend,

The Association of Former Pupils and Friends of Gran Asociación - Colegio has the main aim of bringing together all the people who studied at this school, with the wish to act as a liaison for former school friends to get together again.

I would like to encourage you to use the channels already established by our Secretary’s office, always close to you all, both for the association activities themselves and as regards any requirements that may come up in your working or social lives or higher studies. The magazine "Nuestro Esp@cio Digit@l", sent by e-mail to all the members, is the ideal way to keep us informed of any circumstances arising for each and every one of us.

Dear former pupils,

I would like to be the means for letting the school live on in your university studies and at the start of your working lives. As most of you already know, my daily connection with you is the recently created “Former Pupils’ Secretary’s Office” where Concha Bonilla will receive and pass on all your concerns and needs.

The following services and activities are already available to you:

  • Scholarships for Educators and Dining Room Monitors.
  • Scholarships for Catechists.
  • Work exchange list.
  • Electronic Magazine.
  • Annual meeting (on the date closest to the 3rd November, the day the School was founded)
  • Relations with ex-pupils of European exchange schools.
  • Voluntary work in association with the Assistance Foundation of the Order of Malta.



Encouraged by your many replies, I am sure you will continue to bear witness to Gran Asociación and maintain the school spirit in the new scenarios where you go on as students or workers.

My hope is that you will feel Gran Asociación at your side, keeping alive the remembrance of the School Virgin just as she, from her small chapel, keeps alive the prayers from when you were still at the school.

As you know, I am the person entrusted by School Management to handle the infrastructure providing daily support to the activities of our Association.

Making contact with some teacher or fellow-pupil from a particular year, receiving and sending out your curriculums, collecting your applications for jobs and scholarships are just some of my daily tasks. I am the vital link between each of you and the person, channel, resource or relation that you may need.

Certain that the work that was begun at the Association of Former Pupils will be useful and fruitful for all, I am available everyday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..
